Products made to last
We make our products to last. We love hearing about well-loved Planet Dog toys and how much joy they bring to you and your pup. For example, we had a customer this year send us photos of some of her Planet Dog toys she has had for 10 years!
Our customer service team fields all of our returns. They have seen and heard it all. Often, when a dog's toy is chewed or broken, what they will do is spend a few minutes with you to figure out what type of toy would be a better fit for your dog.
Here are a few tips to choosing the right toy for your dog:
- Shape Matters - The strongest part of a dog's mouth is the back. Longer toys or toys that are too small, can get back into the jowls and may be able to be destroyed. If you have a power chewer, you may want to look into a toy that is completely round, they cannot get into the back part of their mouth.
- Size matters - Make sure you have the right size toy for your dog. Too small and again, the toy could get into the back of their mouth... or worse pose a choking hazard. A toy too large may not hold a dog's interest or could be hard for them to catch or carry around.
- Design matters - Some dogs like to pick at their toys with their front teeth. If that is the case with your dog, they may get off small pieces or break apart a two-color molded toy. If you have a picker, consider is single color/mold toy so it is one single piece.
We KNOW our products are the best and are always willing to work with our customers to find the BEST toy for their dog. If you need more help, you can read our blog post on Choosing the Right Toy for Your Dog or contact us anytime.
